Alongside some pretty big additions to the weekend line-up, the V Festival has just announced that more tickets will be made available to the public from this Friday (27th April)!

Joining the already huge lists of artists performing (Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher, Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Nicki Minah..) are Rita Ora, Newton Faulkner, Wretch 32, Gossip, Beverley Knight, Childish Gambino, Sub Focus, The Feeling, Stooshe, Cover Drive, The Rifles and Angel!

The Capital FM Summer Ball is one of the biggest dates in pop music’s calendar, featuring  appearances from some of the world’s biggest stars every year without fail! This year, though, looks set to be the biggest of them all!

On Saturday, the organisers announced that a huge line-up for this summer’s edition with Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Example, The Wanted, Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Jessie J, Pitbull and Flo Rida! The best chance by far to see all your favourite artists together in one place.

Rumours were sparked last week that the star would be announcing a world tour for her most recent album ‘Love?’. Now it seems everything has been confirmed and a 60 date world tour (her first ever!) with co-headliner Enrique Iglesias is on the cards.

The pair look set to hit up Europe, the US and Asia during the tour and look to be pulling out all the stops with a huge set design, band and team of dancers.

No dates have been confirmed yet but the shows will most likely take place towards the end of this year/early 2013 making the next several months huge for pop music with the likes of Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga both heading to the UK!

Having been making waves over in the US recently, Mumford & Sons have gave fans assurance last week that they haven’t forgotten about home. The band announced a series of very special shows including two outdoor events for Huddersfield and Galway.

Called the Gentle of the Road Stopover tour, the two outdoor shows will feature a line-up of artists handpicked by the band, including Michael Kiwanuka and The Vaccines. There will also be a focus on supporting the local community including local food and aftershow parties at nearby bars and venues.

In addition to these two outdoor shows, Mumford & Sons will be performing several shows before and in between the Huddersfield and Galway dates with support slots from the various artists on the outdoor line-ups.

After announcing last week that she would be playing shows at London’s Twickenham Stadium and Manchester’s MEN Arena in September, all focus was on the tickets’ Friday morning on sale. It’s hardly surprising that, due to phenomenal demand, tickets sold out for both shows in just a matter of minutes.

Luckily, for those who were unable to secure tickets straight away, the star announced earlier today that she has added an extra date at Twickenham Stadium for the 9th September to her tour plans. If the shows aren’t big enough already, fans will also be able to catch the recently reformed The Darkness supporting Lady Gaga for her European concerts.

This news could be disastrous for some but absolutely huge for others – nonetheless, if this really is a collaboration we could see one of the biggest pop singles of the year.

One Direction’s Niall tweeted in the early hours of this morning: “In the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night , its gona sound great!”

There have been rumours of a potential collaboration but now it seems it’s finally become a reality. No info has been posted yet as to whether they did indeed record together and, if so, how the song will be used or if more material is planned. How about a tour though?

This news will certainly bring even bigger things to One Direction who are set to complete a headline tour of the US as well as a date at Madison Square Garden this year. Rita Ora is one of pop music brightest and most exciting rising stars right now. Since appearing on Craig David’s ‘Awkward’ back in 2007 as well as his 2008 track ‘Where Is Your Love’, Ora has been developing her career as a singer.

Eventually in 2009 she caught the attention of Roc Nation, Jay-Z‘s label and production company, and struck up a huge partnership. Within just a few years Ora began working on her first studio album with the likes of will.i.am, Drake, Kanye West and The Dream.

Now Ora has premiered the video for her debut single from her upcoming album. The track was written by Young Money and Drake, produced by Chase & Status and Stargate and also features a guest spot from Tinie Temper! No doubt this one is going to be huge!
